The most popular hill station of Pakistan is Murree, people from all over the Pakistan wish to go there in summer to enjoy its beauty and in winter season for astonishing experience of snowfall. During past few decades, Bhurban and New Murree (Patriata), have also developed as a tourist centre. One of the most favorite tourist point of Murree is Galliat, it has fascinating greenery and scenic beauty that attracts tourist belonging different regions of Asia.
Weather of Murree plays important role in its popularity, it has four beautiful seasons, spring starts in March and ends in middle of May during this period minimum temperature remain four to ten degree celcius and maximum temperature remain twelve to twenty degree celcius. DUNGA GALI / MUSKPURI HILL
When you return from Ayubia to Murree – from Nathiagali road climb further about three miles – a small resort near Mushkpur hill 7,800 ft. From DUNGA GALI you can move further through walking track towards Muskhpuri peak, which is the most beautiful place of that region and is the highest point in the area.
From Murree towards Abbottabad when you pass distance of about 14 kms you will reach Changla Gali, it has lovely pine forest and attractive scenery. It situated at an altitude of 8,400 ft.
You can find it in the way between Murree and Abbottabad, visitors come there to view the snow-capped peaks of Kohistand, Kashmir and enjoy beauty of its surroundings.
From Nathiagali towards Abbottabad about three miles downward there is a lush green area of Baragali. Its altitude is 7,900 ft. and is a small hill station.
How to Reach Murree
Now, reaching Murree is so simple, it is just fifty kilometers from Pakistan's capital Islamabad. Keeping in view the interest of visitors in the beautiful and popular hills of Murree, a few years ago project of Islamabad – Muzaffaraabad Expressway (N-75) was initiated, and in 2008 it was opened for traffic. Expressway reduces the travel time between Islamabad and Murree by providing hassle free link to Azad Kashmir and New Murree. In addition to Expressway there are some other major roads linking Murree to Ayubia, Dungagalli, Nathiagali, and Khairagali.
