Infections could be serious and deadly, so it is important to get vaccinated in time in order to be on the safe side. Not only children need vaccination but adults also need to be immunized against various infections. The purpose of vaccines is to stimulate the body's defense against diseases by enhancing the response of the immune system. Our immune system is a dynamic defensive system which provides us protection against diseases. The vaccines aim to involve the patient's own defenses in order to fight against foreign pathogens (bacteria, viruses) and eliminate them.

vaccination 1 VACCINATION; THE BEST PREVENTION!!

Vaccines have curtailed many infectious evil diseases such as small pox, cholera, rabies and typhoid etc that have killed or harmed many newborns, children and adults. Data reveals that diseases are becoming rare due to different vaccinations. Communicable diseases like Influenza, Chickenpox, Hepatitis, Measles, Mumps, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio etc are becoming rare largely because vaccinations of these fatal diseases are available in market and we have been vaccinating against them. Children under age of 5 are vulnerable to infections because their immune systems are weak and the necessary defense to fight against diseases is not built up.

vaccination 3 VACCINATION; THE BEST PREVENTION!!

It is recommended that in order to prevent several diseases immunization should be continuous and doctors say 'keep immunizing until disease is eliminated'.
Vaccinations are one of the best ways to protect our future, our grandchildren and their grandchildren from serious communicable diseases.

vaccination 2 VACCINATION; THE BEST PREVENTION!!

Polio and other infectious diseases are not completely eradicated from Pakistan yet because people living in rural areas know nothing about the vaccines. There is a dire need to educate them about the benefits of vaccinations. For that; doctors, health workers, media should play its part. Doctors and health workers should improve awareness of mothers regarding importance of vaccines for their child's life. Health education messages can provide knowledge of vaccine preventable diseases and also how immunization can protect them from dangerous diseases.

vaccination 4 VACCINATION; THE BEST PREVENTION!!

People should realize that 'it is better to prevent a disease than to treat it'!!
