Lahore – The Garden of Moughals

Lahore is the capital city of Punjab province, and is situated near the river Ravi. Globally it is known for its cultural activities and tradition; it is a cultural heart of Punjab. The language spoken in Lahore is Lahori Punjabi, being a mixture of pure Punjabi and Urdu. Lahore has various popular places to visit here are few of them:

Shahi Qila – is situated on the north western side of Lahore. The great Moughal emperor of sub-continent Akbar built the existing structure of Shahi Qila. Thousands of visitors come there to see beauty of great architectural marvel. 

Shalimar Gardens – Shah Jehan built them. The gardens have 410 fountains, and three terraces built on top of one another. 

Minar-e-Pakistan – reflects modern architecture and blend. The monument attracts visitors from all over the world and open space near this great monument is mostly used by Pakistanis for public meetings and kite flying. 

Lahore also has many other architectural marvels, traditional, and unique places like Badshahi Mosque, Allama Iqbal International Airport, GC University, GPO building, and Lahore Railway Station.
