'Iss qadar musalsal thi shidatein judai ki, aj pehli bar main ne us se bewafai ki'

'Warna ab talak yun tha khwahishon ki barish main, ya to tut kar roya ya ghazal sarai ki'

'Taj diya tha kal jin ko ham ne teri chahat main, aj un se majburan taza ashanai ki'

'Ho chala tha jab mujhko ikhtilaf apney se, tuney kis ghari zalim meri hamnawai ki'

'Tanz-o-tana-o-tohmat sab hunar hain naseh k, ap se koi puchey ham ne kya burai ki'

'Phir qafas main shor utha qaidiyon ka, aur sayyad dekhna ura dega phir khabar rihai ki'
